Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream – Miracle Oil Review

Hi everyone!

As a person with a Dry Comination skin type, I’m always trying new skin care products to improve the moisture in my skin. Every evening I use the Clinique 3 step routine, which is brilliant but that’s only for my face and the rest of my skin can get really dry too!

I was sent this over a year ago and if I’m honest I completely forgot about it for months until I had a clear out late last year, to make room for Christmas presents and found it again. I have been using it since January this year but didn’t want to post about it until I knew exactly what the product can do. The leaflet that came with the oil explained how it was an “all over body oil”, so I decided to put this to the test. Obviously everyone is different and not everyone can use oils, especially if you’re already an oily skin type. So If you do want to use this and have an oily skin type, just use this in small amounts. A little goes a long way anyway so you’ll definitely get your money’s worth!

My routine at the moment with this oil is usually after I shower. If I’ve washed my hair I will spray once into my hands and then apply to the very ends of my hair, I will then spray again and apply lightly to my face, especially round my nose as this is a dry area for me. I then moisturise my legs and arms with whatever I’m currently using, let that dry and then spray the oil lightly and rub in. I’ve seen a huge change in my legs, I get quite dry legs after shaving and using this oil has massively reduced that.

The award winning 8 hour Cream range by Elizabeth Arden is one of their most popular ranges. If you’re not into oil the 8 Hour formula comes in a ton of different products such as Cream and Balm. I’ve used the 8 hour lip balm before and its a life saver!

The little travel duo is perfect for someone who wants to try some pieces without breaking the bank!

Travel duo – Feelunique.com £20

Lip Balm – AllBeauty.com £14

Skin Protectant – Fragrancedirect.co.uk £14

Have you tried anything from the 8-Hour range?

Natt xx
