I haven’t posted anything in absolutely ages (6days) as I’m currently in the process of moving out of the flat we have been in for nearly a year, and finally getting a house! I’m so excited and will keep you all posted on the progress as it needs a bit of work doing! I’ve been super skint and haven’t been spending much money lately but have managed to pick up some bargains to feed the shopoholic in me!
I bought these shoes from New Look last week and I’m literally in love, they were £19.99, which isn’t exactly cheap as chips but they’re so beautiful and look way more expensive then they actually are. Buy them here!
I always pick up one of these BodyShop shower gels when I can, they seem pricey but they last around 4-5momths so you could save money in the long run, plus they smell amazing!
I’ve seen a lot of bloggers raving about these MUA bits and considering they’re around £3-4 each I couldn’t resist. Firstly, I found the Pro-Base Primer hard to apply without a sponge, however I don’t like to apply primer with a sponge I prefer to apply with my hands. I may purchase a separate brush to apply this with as it does work very well as a smoothing primer. The Power Brow is from the ‘Luxe’ range, which basically means it comes in a fancy packet, the prices are the same, as is the quality. I found this quite waxy, if you have ever used the Benefit Brow Zings it will remind you of the wax section you apply before the powder. The highlighter part at the other end is great, I used it under and above my brows to add definition! Lastly is the Pro-Base Powder when research in this I found the science behind the use of purple and green powder fascinating so I had to try it. The purple is there to neutralise yellow skin tones and add a healthy glow, the green reduces redness and if you have problems with acne it conceals the swelling or scars. I use this as a base before applying my foundation, I must admit at first I was sceptical but I’ve found the redness on my cheeks barely exsists after I’ve used this and after apply foundation my skin looks great!
Lastly are these gorgeous Millie Mackintosh Nouveau Eyelashes, I’ve wanted some of these for ages and have never got round to picking amy up. I saw these in TK Maxx for just £3.99! These are the Caraby style, they’re so easy to apply and make your eyes pop!
What bargains have you picked up recently!?
